Fish questions that need answering?

I might get some fish one day and I was wondering what you have to do to look after them. e.g. how often do you feed them, clean their fish tank, etc. (But if I am going to get some I will do some research so I know how to look after them properly).

And, how long do they live for? What kind of fish should I get? Is 4 an ok number of fish to have?

Also, does anyone here have an axolotl?? I was wondering if they are any different to care for than fish? (Cause I really like Axolotls).
