One of my platies has a little white spot on its tail.
Is it Ick? She hasn't been scratching , she has been swimming round and is now as i type. She is the only one with it?
I bought some medicine for it and added it into the water. I followed the instructions and it says leave it 48 hours now. I didn't Iscolate it as if it has been scratching the other fish would get it too.
Im adding them to a 15 Gallon tank on Monday and wondering is it safe to do that? I'm also moving the heater and ornaments across.
It should be healed by then shouldn't it?
No Sorry
It is literally just one white spot on the top of its tail...
I got some Formula called ''White Spot Control '' It as these 4 Bullet Points on the side...
If fish appear to have small pinhead-sized white spot(s) on their body & fins.
When fish have rapid gill movement.
When fish flick or rub against objects.
When new fish are introduced into an aquarium, use as a preventative treatment against white spot and parasites.
