I have been in the hobby for 25 years and have never had this happen. I have a 150 gallon fresh water takn that has water changes once per week. I dont over feed and my amonia level is very low. All of the sudden everything is dead, 40 electric yellows and 2 cat fish. I did a water change to 50% added declorinator and changed filters to one that is on a healthy tank. I added 2 zebra's just to see what would happen and they died within 24 hrs. Does anyone have a clue? Also no new fish or plants and nothing toxic around the tank.
Fish only live 24 hours?
