Fish mourning for dead fish?

I had a fish die today in a tank with 7 other fish. It was a red one, but while it was floating, my 4 yellow ones were floating directly below it in a line as if they were holding the dead body up to keep from falling.
What does this mean, are they mourning for it, or is there some kind of benefit from rubbing on the body?

I would guess they were trying to get dibs, fish tend to pick at fallen friends.

If they are a schooling type of fish, they were probably just huddled around it, simulating a small school. And, yes, they're happy creatures who love life and aren't afraid to feast on the dead.
