we just recently noticed that our fish had ick we immediately went and bought boxes of ick meds the kids that turns the wather a blue green color. we bought it from walkmart. it was tabs and we followed the directions exactly liek the box said. we are seeing pretty much all of the white spots gone of the alge eaters and now our goldfish who didnt have too many white spots liekthe alge eaters are now having about 3-4 scales each that have fallen off of the middle of their sides. is that normal adn they will just grow back or is that another issue we need to deal with
ps we have had the fish for about 2 years and the 55 gal tank and pump for about 9 months
why would we need to treat for 2 weeks? the box says once. but we are dong it three times, once every other day.
