i wanna get aquatic plants for my 10 gallon tank what shud i get?also how do i care for them ?how many hours of light .also is it good to give them light and ultra activated carbon?or do i need more lmk
java fern is a great first plant.its low light plant and its easy to grow. it does well w/ the standard floresent fixture found in most 10 gal kits. give them roughly 12 hrs or so of light a day. carbon is good to use in general.
this plant does better attached to driftwood or rock rather than in the gravel.
