I was backing out at a parking lot, very slowly and hit the back of another car. very very minor scratch to the other car. Almost nothing to mine. I decided to pay for it out of my own pocket. The lady of the other car called me to tell me it would be around $850 to fix the scratch and I told her to go ahead and get it fixed and that I would pay for it. Today she called again and said that she noticed a crack on her windshield (she had not noticed it before) and that she may need to get the windshield replaced. I am afraid she is cheating me. What should I do?
