First time in Dubai: should I stay at the Atlantis, Madinat Jumeirah or The Walk at JBR?

The Atlantis looks great with all the water activities and is simply cool, while Madinat Jumeirah seems super luxurious, right on a private beach and simply fabntastic. The Walk at JBR area looks great area to walk around, dine and shop and I could just walk and not need a car. Where would you stay?
