Is there a book or two that would be the equivalent of the PCT guidebook series by the wilderness press PCT guide books? you know, one with topos that covered more ground in 3 books, rather than the series that I've managed to find that are near 10 or more in number?, How can the wilderness press cover more ground with less books?
Ps: personally i didn't like the WP guide books, and preferred to used topos on a hike thru-oregon. I do know you can download topos etc, but is there a smaller set? I know you can download maps and the amount of mumbo-jumbo books is overwhelming. Basically all i want is a smaller series of maps of the Appalachian trail and the PCT data book. I'm sure this is the most redundant question, but I'm at at total loss here.
