Running for me has been a hobby and a sport from a very young age. I've taken advantage of the fact that I'm a big guy that can run fast in everything I've ever done (soccer in high school, football in college).
But lately my legs have started caving in, and it's really starting to worry me.
As some of you may know, I was hospitalized for tendinitis and a hyper-extended ACL in my right leg a few months ago. They thought I had torn a ligament and that I had protein seeping into my blood, something which would have required a blood transfusion and emergency surgery.
Well, guess what? Right now, I have my left leg up on a stool and the same area which was affected on my right leg has swollen up on my left. It's purple and red, and sore to the slightest touch. I can't bend my knee and I can barely move my leg. These are the exact same conditions my right leg was in before I realized I had fucked it up majorly.
Hopefully I caught this one on time. I'm waiting for my mom to get back from grocery shopping so I can let her know that we're going to have to go spend the entire fucking day at the hospital -_-.
Just wanted some of you to wish me luck, I believe in that sort of thing. I really don't want to have tubes stuck in my leg again.
