Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey voicing these characters...should be nuts.

This pic is WAAAY too big. Please someone shrink it down.

After seeing the pic, Dreamworks need to make characters that don't share the same face or facial expressions. I hope to see a Dreamworks animated film where I wouldn't be able to recognize that it came from them at all and say that this is very different from its other animated films from the past.

What's the bad guy's name? Dr. Generic?

Seriously, the second I first heard of this movie, I had a strong feeling that that was EXACTLY what the main character was going to look like.

I though that he was an evil Butt Ugly martian, and who's the guy in white? I am really not suprised by this picture, I'm about as amused as a snail right now. This movie looks like it'll about as unique as a Volvo 240 and by that I mean bland.

Every character in a Dreamworks animated film has their eyebrow raised, as it was discussed in an earlier thread, just to think that the company is smarter and better in storytelling, making the big bucks, and killing off their best ideas with sequel after sequel than Pixar.

All we're missing is a big M on his chest, what kind of name is that? Is it taken from Metroplis, Supermans city? Or is it a joke to the peice of garbage car?

He looks like The Monarch and Dr. Venture's love child.
Fey's character has a decent design..not the cliche skinny as all hell design most CG chicks have.

A while back there was this thread about how cartoon characters (not just dreamworks ones) raised there eyebrows an oddly large amount of the time. It lasted a rather ridiculous (And unspeakably awesome) four pages. I'm trying to resurrect it.

I don't think much of the character designs, but the plot sounds interesting....

Ah yes, it seems that the Oobermind character is raising an eyebrow, I think it's about time that thread were to be brought back to life...

As for the character designs, if you ask me they look a bit too much like the ones from Monsters V.S. Aliens but that's just from my perspective.

The character designs are a bit bland and boring, so I hope the writing will be good. A supervillain trying to make a new superhero after he accidently kills his arch-rival should make for a good movie if done right.
