First day of high school (Freshmann) outfit? And orientation help!?

In a week I will be going to orientation. I am the oldest child in my family so I dont know a lot about high school so I have a few questions.

1. What is orientation, like what do you do? Do you have to dress up nicely? What do you wear?

Also I was thinking about wearing this shirt (in blue), a pair of white flip flops with small stones on them, and blue denim shorts.

2. Do you like that outfit? Would it look okay for the first day of school?

Also I am trying out for Freshman volleyball on Thursday, Friday, and Monday.

3. What do I wear/bring to tryouts?

4. Should I change at the school gym or arrive in my Volley ball stuff?

5. Do you know when you would get gym lockers?
