first dance as couple to Far Away, good or bad idea?

Its a song by nickleback, I things its a really good song, and have loved it since it came out, and I have had it as his ring tone since then too.... good or bad idea?
We live together, so we havent been apart... I just really love the song, and dont want people talking crap at my wedding about our song choice... Bc you know it happens
 
It's a pretty song and a good pace for a first dance, but does it fit the situation that you are in? It's about missing someone who's far away..so if they two of you have been apart for a while and now are getting married, it would be a really good song, but if that's not the situation, consider something else. Hope this helps :)
 
If you love the song, then you should use it. It would be much better than picking a song that you don't really like just because it "fits". Do what makes you happy.
