first car need help on a mazda protege!!! please help?

hey guy i just bought my first car, its a 03 protege 5 hatchback. theres a light that keeps flashing with the letters " AT" on it. what is that?? also does any know where i can take the car to make it higher. its too low and speed bumps and high parking spots are killing it i keep scraping it.
 
AT flashing means an electronic problem in the transmission, and the first thing to do with a low riding car is to replace the springs and shocks.
