First car help -- (Australian)?

At the end of the year I plan on buying a Mitsubishi Lancer, I want one with a decent body kit, hopefully black (but maybe not cos it attracts dirt, gets hot, etc.). I would like to get colour window tints (If it's legal?). Hopefully a good sub-woofer as well. I've price checked some of them on Carsales.com.au and the 2001-2002 models are in my price limit and they look decent. I don't want to spend much more than $8,000. Preferably manual. Also.. Any other car recommendations?

I really don't like commodores.. they're so plain
