Yesterday, Nokia updated the firmware to the Maemo 5 based N900 in the UK and will do the same today for other markets. The 1.2 software update will improve email as well as bring in Facebook IM chat, face to face video calling, web browsing in portrait mode, UI menu system that is customizable and Ovi Maps that have been enhanced.
Nokia N900 customers will also see and get new games such as GoGadget, Sygic, Kroll, Angry Birds and Jurassic 3D Rollercoaster via the Ovi Store beginning May 27.
