Firefox not registering Flash player update?

I pretty much only use Firefox now, and i know enough about firefox and computers to know that the adobe flash player isnt registering. some flash things show up on my computer, while others dont even show up. I used Internet Explorer, and it works, but on firefox some things dont work.
(PS) I have installed the update, but it still wont register.
