Firefly for senior citizen

I am thinking of getting a Firefly for my dad. It is simple enough for him to use
& he only calls a few numbers on it.
Does anyone know how loud the volume control is on it. He's kinda hard of hearing & if it doesn't ring loud enough or the ear piece doesn't loud enough he won't be able to hear it.
He can't figure out the Motorola Rzr I gave him & the Pantech Breeze was a disaster. On the Pantech Breeze the center button is Web access & he kept
accidently pressing it & used up all his minutes without him knowing he was on the Web.
 
The Verizon Samsung Convoy is EXTREAMLY LOUD probably the loudest I have EVER heard in a phone. It is also A Ruggedized phone, So Dust, Shock & Radiation Resistant. And you can have the Internet feature Blocked so no problems there!
 
The Samsung Convoy looks too complicated for him. He couldn't get the Razr to work even after being shown over & over again. He's 87 years old & can't
remember new things.
