help!? My husband was sick with cancer for a year and at that time I was hired by condo complex to clean. My manager started tflirt with me and asking me to become his girlfriend.
I was very strongly against it but he kept trying . He knew i was in desperate need of the job, and at times would touch me inappropriately when I would least expect it. He touched my breast a couple of times. I was too devastated emotionally to follow this legally. I was expecting my husbands death from day to day.
When my husband passed away two months ago, my manager started thinking that now I needed the job even more, He tried once again. I still did not accept his advances and he tried to fire me because of it. I told the president of the condo association and she just assured me that everyhting would be ok. I kept the job, and even told him that i would hire a lawyer if he tried to fire me because of it. this was a month ago.
When I went today to work , he called me to his office and the president was there, He fired me. Because he was working there for much longer than I, the president believed him. They did not even give me 15 minutes of their time to explain my side. The manager kept saying that they did not have 15 minutes. they just took my keys and told me to leave.
PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE ON WHAT I SHOULD DO IN THIS SITUATION! PLEEEASE.
woudl i have a chance legally. When I first applied for the job, a friend told me not to do it because the manager would make sexual advances, she had worked there for a short period of time but left the job for that reason. I however neede the job too much not to try,
