So im new to fire dancing.
1) what do you put on the wick to make it flame?
2)How much ^?
3)How do you know its enough?
4)How long can the flame last?
5)And how do you put it out without messing up your wick? Or is water fine?
And im 5'9 and i cant decide to get a shorter or taller staff. My choices of them are 3-5ft staffs.
I spin flags (Jazz poles, which are shorter. 5ft and 6ft poles) in marching band/color guard so the spinning isn't the hard thing but what would you suggest?

Also i'm guessing my hair should be up in a bun, no loose hairs, but how should i dress? Like what are the no nos of the clothing for fire dancing?
