Finnish immigration laws?

Okay, so my whole life I wanted to move to Finland, where my great-grandparents are from. I am in love with the language, the culture, and the beauty of all northern European countries. I recently sound out that I COULD have become a Finnish citizen had my mother gone about doing it before she reached the age limit. Now, I'm screwed out of my hopes and dreams, unless there is some way around this.
Anyone know of a way around this? Or atleast some hot Finnish man I can marry? :D
