I have been attending my community college finishing up my pre-req's. One more semester to go and I can apply for the Nursing program. I know nursing is an excellent career, my mother is a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery. I have seen her work, it is wonderful. The pay is great but is this my true calling?
I then recently came across Respiratory Therapy (RRT) This job looks fulfilling and fast-paced. Just like nursing it has many areas to branch off into. The pay is less but it seems like it could be an exciting career.
I think I will shadow a Respiratory Therapist for a few hours this summer to see if I have interest in it.
If anyone has anymore insight on this career please enlighten me. I am very interested and I need to choose soon!
