Fingers go numb & pain in upper back for months

Could be from a herniated disk in your lower neck area. Those are the symptoms. See your doc about an MRI on your cervical spine before the numbness is permanent.

good luck.............Jenny(2 major cervical spine surgeries)

Hi, I would also include a brain MRI with those. I had the numbing fingers first with a hypothyroid (Hashimoto's) problem. Then I experienced it again when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a brain MRI found that. Hopefully it's not MS, but definitely don't wait. Go see a doctor. Good Luck
