My fiance and I are celebrating our fifth anniversary next month (and it lands on a Saturday so it's PERFECT for going out) and we want to do something fun and special since 5 years is one of the big ones and it's the last dating anniversary we're really going to celebrate since we're going to have a "new" anniversary. So, does anyone know a great place to get seafood and/or steak in downtown San Diego (around the Gaslamp district but going as far north as La Jolla)? We live in North County San Diego and tend to stick more toward our area so we don't know as much about downtown. I would love to know the names of places, quality of food, formality, food price, what food they serve, etc. Also, if you have any other ideas for what to do for our special day, I would love to hear it. So far, I've been thinking snorkeling with leopard sharks, whale watching, a nice dinner, and a hotel somewhere around the area. Thanks so much for the help!
