This might be a toughie cuz it's an oldie.

When I was much younger I watched what I believe was an OVA about a guy who comes into the possession of an old tapestry which he excitedly uses to decorate his room, anticipating a lady friend to stop by. While he waits a girl phases through the tapestry, crossing over dimensions, and basically messes things up for him for the rest of the show.

Does anyone know the name?
 
@KT, could it be Tenchi Muyo!? It's an ova from the nineties about a boy who releases a space pirate who was trapped for 700 years. The description also says there is a harem element to it. I don't know if there's a tapestry though...
 
Nope, that's not it. This girl had long pink hair, if I recall correctly. And shortly after she crossed through her two sisters followed. There was a big fight scene in a run-down office building at the end.
 
This was on Toonami about 5 or so years back, Set in the future, main guy is badass, uses a handgun in similar design to a desert eagle, finds a briefcase, short firefight ensues and he opens the breifcase to find a naked girl inside.

Any ideas?
 
I'm trying to figure out what this show was that I use to watch back when I was little. I swear its an anime because I remember the art style and I have been looking at tons of Mecha shows from the 90s but haven't figured it out yet...

It aired in the US during the 90s and it has mechs in - it somewhat.
The main character was this young guy with black hair, eventually I think he received a scar on his face, or had an evil brother that did. Him and a crew of men where in space and some how there was an accident where the whole crew was infected (I'm not certain about that, the details are quite fuzzy in my head). But somehow after an incident the main character and a few others had gained the ability to become mechs themselves, kind of like armor. There were also these hovering crafts that at least two of the characters had that they rode on. The main character could only stay so long in mech form- or only work the mech for so long?
The really bad guy was either black or dark purple. There was another bad guy that was dark green, but I believed he was defeated or died eventually in the show. Both the bad guys were once part of the crew that the main character was a part of, and he personally knew them before they turned. There were also these bug like robots that came and I think invaded Earth.
There was also a secret headquarters out in the desert that the main character stayed at.

ok so this is obviously not an anime but, there was this show back on abc like 7, maybe 8 years now, and its about this girl, she got chemical crap on her, and now she has the ability to turn into a puddle of water ... thats all i really remember
 
Secret World of Alex Mack, easy lol. Ok my friend made this video of a bunch of Gif's sliced together and we cant figure out what the anime from 2:07 to 2:11 is. Thank you! I spent hours going through forums about animes with swords in them... You'd be quite surprised how unhelpful those threads were...
 
A long time ago, at least... 6 or 7 years ago, I remember watching a show that ends with a man and woman leaving a cave together, but one of them was missing an arm and leg. I know it had mech-suits in it, so I'm guessing it was a type of Gundam show. I just remember having enjoyed the series sooo much, and I wanted to re-watch it! If anyone can help, then I thank you greatly!
 
would that be Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team? one of the last scenes of the series shows just that scene you described. i wanted to post a screenshot to confirm with you, but i'm at the office right now unfortunately, i will try to post one when i get home though
