Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

Hi,

I am trying to find an anime film that I saw when I was a kid. I saw it on the Sci-Fi channel back when they showed anime. The title I think had the word Psychic in it, it took place in the future (pretty sure) there was a fair amount of telepathy going on. The people lived in a crater on the moon that had a life sustaining dome over it. There was some issue with the society that was focused upon, they were abusing their world's resources and used them up. In the later part of the movie there was an attempt to relocate to another world and start over. In the end **possible spoilers ahead**a lot of the characters died, when they died their "spirits" moved to Earth where they were seen by early man. I guess sort of a twist ending. That's all I can remember it was a long time ago but I really would love to see this movie again, from what I remember it seemed pretty cool.

If you had seen it last year, I'd say you're describing Ergo Proxy... but since you said it was older I'd guess it's one or another incarnation of Mobile Suit Gundam... did it have mecha in it?

sounds like you saw one of the many Macross series. I haven't seen them all, so I'm not completely sure, but there are huge mecha (SDF-1) with 50,000 people living inside. Might also be Robotech which was a spinoff of Macross




it's not macross or robotech... there are only 2 mechs
the people that live in them are unaware that they are mechs
except for the councils, made up of a few people on each mech

there's something special about the boy and girl....
that she is the only one that can pilot the one,
and he is the only one that can pilot the other

Hi everybody! I'm Sahib, been a anime watcher since i was a youngin and suprisingly it aired in India where i spent my childhood. Now being a kid and all back then, i forgot to note down the anime name but I remember I used to watch this anime which resembles gundam wing very closely. It had the same concept of a person in a cockpit of a robot except I don't recall it looking like the actual gundam line figures. A unique thing I remember is that the main character had a robot (gundam i'll say cause it basically was like a gundam) but that gundam kinda of had a mind of its own, and the main character rather stood then sat. Also, in that anime the main character and his gundam had a special ability; in the sense that he would have a small dagger that he would use as a key and his gundam would transform into a tiger style gundam. To the point I remember he was just understanding the new found discovery but it wasn't under control.

I saw this anime in India probably around 95', Im guessing if they could translate it into Hindi then im guessing it was in english too. Ive been aching to know which anime this is hahaha but I just cant seem to find out which one it is. If anyone gets an idea of which anime this is please tell me haha. Once again it seems alot like Gundam series but I was looking thru the old ones and they didn't seem to resemble it; maybe I missed one? LEAVE A MSG PLEASE!

Hello, A few months back I watched two animes... (only the first episodes) but know I can't find them on my computer nor remember the names. I don't remember much about them, but I'd like to watch them so I decided to post around what I remember to see if anyone can help.

The first one all I remember is there was fighting and at the end of the first episode the (I think he is the main character) dies and then this girl brings him back to life with this forbidden sword (I think it was a sword could possibly be something else like a book) thats about all I remember from the first one.

And the second one starts with some kind of monsters attacking (what I think is a hospital) and the armed forces (don't know what there called so I will just say armed forces) are trying to fight the monsters off while they wait for the special forces (again just using a name) but it doesn't look like there going to make it in time.. then something sowed up and lead the head girl of the armed forces to this stray guy who has the same power that the special forces do.. but its considered a fugitive for being on his own and always destroying things when he helps and always requesting money to help. (I think they use some kind of mechs to fight).

Anyways its not much but if at al possible I'd like to watch hese animes..

nono, not zoids.. the one im talking about has like humans in cockpits, but they would stand i think... not sit... and very much like gundam wing but its jus not cause in that they have more of a bond with their machines. And the machines had an ability to transform. It was an intense show id say.. or maybe it was cause i was small hahaha
 
Can someone please tell me the name of an anime that im thinking of.

It would of been either from 80's or early 90's.
It was about a guy (always about a guy haha) and he piloted this ship with like red laser discs on each end of each wing.
He used to fight against other machines (I think alien).
To fight his enemies, he use to click a button in his cockpit, and then his seat would move into another section of the ship. This would allow him to pilot a robot that would fly out of the ship.
After he had fought and won, he would then fly the robot back into the spaceship.
His base was inside a waterfall.

This may not be a good description but its all i got in my head :P

Can some please tell me?
 
i have know idea what that show is, and i thought we were suppose to talk about classic anime or anime back in the day not the deffinition or meaning of CLASSIC so yeah
