Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

nah the guy i'm talking about had black hair and a hell of alot of scar on his body... i mean alot!... like Gatsu from berserk in the mangas had nothing on this guy in terms of scars... baki is a red head, and the guy from tenjho is blonde isn't he. Hmm..

I should probably add that the animenation was similar to that of golden boy.

Edit: I double checked on baki and it happens that it was baki after all. i just didn't know that there was like 4 different versions of Baki, the one i was looking for was called "Grappler Baki the ultimate fighter". thanks for the suggestion Raven.
 
There is an anime that I watched years back and would really like to see again but cannot remember the name of it.

What I remember about the Anime:

There are 2 (and only 2) HUGE mechs.. they are so big that people are living in them as Cities.

In one city there is a boy that has been chosen as the pilot.
In the other there is a girl that has been chosen.

After this my memory gets a little fuzzy, there is a battle between the 2 Mech Cities while the citizens are still inside them.

Been looking for the title of this anime for the better part of 2 years.
