a mech anime that i think was on toonami at one point that involved mechs from different countries competing in a fighting contest, and i think at the end they had to fight this nasty monster
 
wow your right, i never had a good memory, cant beilve i cant remember a gundam series being that gundam wing is one of my favs of all time and i generally enjoy most of the gundam series
 
Hey, I was watching late night Adult Swim one night, and caught an episode of this show which I happened to really enjoy, but couldn't figure out what show it was.

As I recall, it was a Prince of some sort traveling with a female (who seemed subserviant to him). They were searching for something? Anyway, the episode ended with some guys trying to kill them in some broken down house or room or something, and the girl busting out a shotgun and saving the princes life.

The prince was very young, I can't remember if the girl was or not.

Sorry for the lack of details, this was well over a year ago now! But I'm still searching =)
 
Alright, this has been PLAGUING me for the longest time and I NEED HELP.

I can't remember the name of a particular anime.
Here is what I remember:

There are mech suits.
The main character has blonde hair, blue eyes, and wears a red vest thing.
I think the anime was made btwn 1988 and 1998.
IT IS NOT ZOIDS.
I think the title involves "part II" or something like that.
In the anime there was a tragedy in a city called "Prague."
A lady saved the blonde guy in the tragedy.

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam?
Honestly the only mecha anime I know where one of the main characters has a red suit and blonde hair with blue eyes.
