can you maybe give a description of some of the main characters? Like hair color, personality?

thats not it either...
i saw it a long time back...so my memory is very sketchy...so i can't describe anything with complete certainty...from what i remember...there were only about 3-5 powerful mechs...there was a group of 3 friends maybe...2 guys and 1 girl...now in the episode when the lead character gets to use the special mech...i'll explain it a little...the guy and some of his friends were trapped inside this room...they were locked in there by some people...at the same time...the unmanned mech was fighting this other mech...and it was basically getting its ass whooped...so it fled the scene...at the place where the character guy was trapped...there's suddenly a hole in the wall and he disappears...no1 knows where he went...but they proceed to leave the place through the hole...the main guy then suddenly finds himself surrounded by glowing green light...and in front of him he can see another mech...and starts to fight it...later he realises he was in the special mech...
i hope this helps...oh and another thing...another friend of mine saw this too...he doesn't remember much either...but he thinks the name of the special mech was cybertron...he wasn't sure...and cause he's been into transformers a lot lately...cud be that he's confusing the 2 up...anyways if i remember anything else...i'll be sure to post it here...thanks a lot for your help...i really appreciate it!!!
