Hello everyone, I' ll get straight to the point.
When I was around 9-10 years old (now I am 27), I watched an amazing animation fild, but I don't know how it was called. The reason I made this new post is to request help from anyone who knows it, or can help me find it.
The story is as follows:
The human race is in war with the machines. In a palace (I think) there are born two children (I think twins) a boy and a girl. One is raised as royalty and the other is given to an old man who really hates the machines to raise it. At the underground city that the old man lives, tries to pass the hatred for the machines to the young child. However, the child discovers some long lost and forgotten machines (robots?) in a hidden chamber and becomes friends with them. As the time passes by both the children grow up and an old prophecy comes into play.
the prophecy about a person the "King of the Sun" or something similar that is all-powerful and can destroy the machines, winning the war. Although they don't know who of the two is the one that the prophecy implies, the war starts and all the humans struggle.
While the old man tries to create allies for the upcomming battles, the machines have a trump card. They have created tiny mechanical spiders that can get inside a human from his forehead and slowly make them into robots, while their external human appearance remails. Creepy, huh?
I have to say that it was an amazing animation for its time, with excellent graphics! Now, I would say that it resembles the SMURFS, but I would really like to have it
That's all abouti it that I can remember. Sorry is I cannot give any more information, but I really can't remember much. Anyone with any ideas, please let me know.

I have been searching the web for "mechanical spiders", "human-machine war" and lots of strings that I think will hit a result, but nothing
