Finding Anime Names & General Anime Q&A

OVA stands for Original Video Animation.

It's frequently found also ad OAV, with the same meaning.

Briefly, it stands for a movie (or a series of movies) produced directly for shops or rental, not for tv or theatres (made in USA examples are the various "Little Mairmaid 2", "Secret of Jafar", "Timon and Pumbaa" and so on that Disney makes).
 
Are there any websites that will translate english to japanese characters?

Years ago when I was about 9 or 10, I'm 17 now, I watched an anime when I was on holiday to St Lucia. It was great and I'd love to see it again but I've got no clue on the name...

From what I can remember it was mecha based. The two main characters were brothers and they fought each other in their mechs. The battle took place in space or more accurately on a space station, I think. If I remember correctly one of the brothers had been tempted by evil and the other hated to fight him but had to...
I'm pretty sure they're were more characters involved but these are the ones that stick in my mind....
Also I'm virtually sure it has nothing to do with Gundam....

I probally won't remember the name but pictures may help...
So If anyone can help me I'd GREATLY aprieciate it.

In Need of Help !!!

So I'm looking foir old anime that I watched on the beggining of 90's.
It was about robots that could transform. There were bad ones and good ones. There were on some kind of planet trapped with ppl, and both of them were looking for some ship that was buried under snow or icy lake.
It was called Terre Nova or something like that.

I really need your help. If u know the title to this thing or at least know where I should look for it pls lemme know. Thank you
