Ok, I think I have this in the right spot this time. I found these two pictures of these two girls and I was wondering what anime they're from and who they are? I love their lolita fashion an I think they're both very pretty. K, here they are.

Thanks a bunch!

I saw this film, maybe back in 91/92. It was an animated movie, and I'm
pretty sure it was an Anime.
I don't remember almost anything, except for a battle between two gigant
creatures, a big snake and a dinosaur, a T-Rex, like Kerano, the one in
Rai Cave boy. I also remember it was much of the color red, throughout the
movie.

I know this isn't much of a help, but still.
Does this sound familiar at all? Any idea what it COULD be? Anyone?
This is just a wild shot. Hoping for answer.

I'm into the action anime's, Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, things like that. A while back ago a friend told me about this anime. He couldn't remember the name, or the characters. But he did tell me this.

He said that it had great great animation, that it had "good graphics". There's only one thing I have to go by and it's this.

He described a scene, he said that there were 2 people in a werehouse. He said that the main character had the abiilty to sort of transform into a half wolf..half human type of guy? Like a werewolf? And he said he created a little portal like thing and pulled a sword out of it. Erm..

That's all I have to go on! Razz..I'm sure someone out there knows what this is?
Goin to bed and hopin to find some more info in the morning! Thanks in advance.

No it's not wolfs rain .

Why is this thread Unstickied?

Edited: Vampire L - not sure. but i stickied it back, whoops. Now i found out why this was unstickied. its because of the "Popular threads" thread.

many years ago, around 1995 I saw an anime which i really liked:

the plot was about time travelling agents.

it was about a boy who meets a girl who is a time agent, and he becomes her assistant.

after completing few missions he also becomes a time agent, but his classmate girl finds out he is a time agent, and she becomes his assitant.

on his mission with the new girl it comes out that now the first girl is a rebeliant against time agents...

in general thats the plot synopsis, does anyone know, what anime is it?

I found where this scene is from!
It's an episode from the 'Gaiking' series. The boy was a character called Pela who with this winged horse Pegasus becomes a powerful weapon. It was completely by chance I found it by reading a back of a video sleeve. It feels so great that I've managed to see it after all this time.
The video was a little confusing. For the UK video release, 'Gaiking' was renamed 'The Protectors', and another Jim Terry Productions Anime series 'Starvengers' was renamed 'The Formators'. This one video was titled 'The Formators', even on the credits. Still, as long as I found it.
No news on the War Animation yet, any help would be great. Thanks

Funny. I own the whole Gaiking Series on DVD and I don't remember that episode.

And I thought I was a good Go Nagai fan...

It's just one episode in the end. I reckon if the character was in more or had a major storyline people would remember and I probably would have found 'Gaiking' a lot earlier.

A forgot to repost the details of the War animation. Here they are:

I have been looking for an adult animation that I caught sight of on TV in Kazakhstan sometime when my family were living in Almaty (it was from 1993 to 1997, but I think I saw the animation between '96 and '97). It was overdubbed in Russian or Kazakh, and the previous track was in English, but I think that it may have been a different language before that. I do not know the title of it, I only saw scenes from it, and all my searches for it have not turned up anything.

The basic story line I think is that soldiers invade a small town or village, but I'm not sure where. They storm into family homes, there are shootings, executions, a soldier gets run over by a tank and I think towards the end a baby dies in the arms of its mother, who is among a group of women from the village wandering in the countryside as refugees I think. These were in the title credits actually, in a sort of montage over some classical music. The beginning of the film shows a young boy in a town square buying food at a stall, and meeting one of his friends. Another sequence I remember is that a small toy wagon rolls down the street, broken I think, and the young boy stares as it goes down. I switched on a little later and the boy was in some building with some men. A man appears and it turns out to be the boy's father. The father seems to remember the man getting run over by the tank. Other shots I remember are of a young man or boy getting shot in the head, a couple of men who are tied up are executed by firing squad, and a woman is pushed against the wall by a soldier.

I am afraid that is all I remember. I know that if I saw a still from the film I would remember it.
Thanks[/QUOTE]

I asked about an anime with a flying island in this thread, and was directed towards Laputa Castle in the Sky.

I am now going to watch it, yay! (and thanks again for reminding me)

Why is this unstickiefied?

EDIT by Joonavar: I have no idea why, but I have re-applied the superglue ^_^

I just watched Laputa. AWESOME. I got teary eyed at the memories it brought back, its funny how when as a kid you catch a random scene of a cartoon or anime on TV, and how it affects you decades later. I literally only remembered one single shot in this entire movie that I must have caught on TV once, and it stayed with me my whole life.

That damn Miyazaki!

Thanks for the help again guys, you're the best

A while back (about 7 to 10 years ago) I saw an anime movie about the dropping of the atomic bomb (I'm not sure which city it was that they based it in). The one scene that has stuck in my head was of a family after the bomb had been detonated. There were many severely burned people, dead people, and others with radiation poisoning (as you would expect after what happened). The sky turned very dark green or black I'm not too sure which it was, and acid rain began to fall. That is all I can clearly remember. I've been looking for it for a couple of months but have had no luck what so ever because of my extremely limited knowledge of anime so it would be super if you could give me a hand.

Thanks.

A.its called bombs

Q.what does OVA stand for and what does it mean i always see ppl use that term but dont know what it is

Sounds a lot like 'Barefoot Gen', which is about the bombing of Hiroshima. I think there are a few other Animes about that event, but as far as I know, 'Barefoot Gen' is the only one released subtitled and dubbed.
