Mana_master thats pretty close but its not the right one yet m8. The way the characters got into the mobile suits was via this sphere like thing. Similar to wing zero's in gundam wing. The sphere turned clockwise halfway and lowered down abit and then the charcter got in the sphere, locked up and then turned anti clockwise halfway. Thats how all the mobile suits in that anime worked. Thanx
 
There was this one anime I saw on the sci-fi channel when they use to air it. The plot was some bug like aliens were attacking earth and some guy came from out of no where and started protecting the earth using a mech like suite. He could call upon on it and BAM he would be controlling the mech from inside. I think it was called Danger something but im not quite sure. Hope this was enough info.
