I had an '83 Celica. Also had an '81 and '73. That's an old car, it would be hard to find one. They don't usually sell whole cars at junkyards, they make a lot more selling the parts. You could shoot em an offer though. $1000?
Auto wrecking yards seldom keep cars over 10 years old. You may find one but you will have to search a lot. The cost depends on how complete the car is.
