Find the original price of a pair of shoes if the sale price is $13 after a 75 percent discount.?

My Math teacher wasn't very helpful on solving this. I mean, I think I had it and the answer online was different.

This is how I completed it. 13 x .75 = 9,75 then I added 9.75 to the sale price and got 22.75,,,which I guess is wrong...apparently. Can somebody please help me out and walk me through this easy, yet DIFFICULT problem for me.
