find out if the name i found was my great great grandad at tyne cot?

i was on a trip to belgium when i was at the cemetry at tyne cot i found a name under the royal scots batalion with my surname and my gran said my great great grandad fought in that battle and was in that battalion how do i find out if the name is correct of the internet ?
