find hair style pix for me and advice?

Im a really artsy girl, i have brown hair past the shoulder. I want a color/cut thats different, im thinkin a darker brown with like a bright red or blue chunk streak? would a salon do that?

I would appreciate any ideas. I dont want to much shorter because im want to grow it out more, but what do you think of the color streak?
