Financial assistance for daycare in Florida?

How much money is too much to recieve financial assistance for daycare in Florida? I applied online weeks ago and have never heard anything. Does anyone know who I should contact to figure out if I qualify?
My son will be two in August so he won't be able to go to pre-k for a couple years.
 
oh gosh talking to them here in florida is like getting a cow potty trained ... go to www.dcf.state.fl.us '' is department of children and families services website '' or call 1-866-762-2237 but GOOD LUCK ! u will have to hold for a long time one time i was on hold for an hr .
 
I'm in the Orlando area. Is your child old enough for the free pre-K that schools are offering, even in the summer? Check with myflorida.com, they might have the answers you're looking for. You might have to search all over the web-site for this info. But it should have many answers you need.
