I unfortunately have been put on financial aid suspension due to a low gpa. However, I am writing an appeal because I have been diagnosed with ADD and my learning problems have definitely stemmed from that. I receive VA benefits since my dad is a disabled veteran. I do not use those monthly checks towards college...I have always just used my pell grant to pay for tuition.
Now on with my question: If my appeal is not accepted and I lose my state financial aid (pell grant), will I also lose my monthly VA benefits? As I had already said, I do not use va checks for college. My college does not even have it in their computers that I receive VA benefits.
