I have recently been put on financial aid suspension because my gpa is below a 2.0. I wrote an appeal letter to them explaining that i'm a single mother trying to raise my child, clean houses for work, and go to school full time. I am in the middle of a custody battle for custody of my son. Of course tthose of you that have been through it know that it can be one of the worst times in someone's life. The fear of having your child takin from you. I explained that the custody battle was taking a toll on me along with everything else. I worked extra just so i could pay my lawyer. I told them that i wasnt able to concentrate that well with all of this going on but now i have a lot of family support and i told them that school is very important to me and i believed that if givin another chance, i could do better and bring up my gpa.
