I just received my financial aid check for summer class. I was just wondering if I want to withdrawal from the class, and not cash the check and give it back to them. Will I still receive financial aid for next semester (Fall) or will financial aid suspend me? Let's say if I cash the check and withdrawal from the class. Will I be in big trouble? My finger is itching, and I want to cash it, but my good side is telling me not to just incase I might fail or withdrawal from the class.
I'm not sure if I meet the minimum credits or not. I signed on my fafsa that I was going to school full time, but due to full classes, I was forced to drop, so I ended up with part time classes.. I passed all my classes last semester with D's and A, and I got a cumulative gpa of 2.1. Financial aid mailed me a letter not so long ago that I have to maintain a cumulative gpa of 2.0 or higher. I just received my summer check today, and I was just wondering if I return it back, is it possible to still receive aid for next semester? I am having a hard time right now because of interruption, and I just feel like withdrawing from the class.. I didn't drop out without any record because it was too late.. I thought I can do it, but now I'm stressing out, and I don't know if I should cash the check or send it back.
