I just enrolled in univ of phoenix. my counselor told me as we filled out the fafsa did i want the funds directly deposited into my bank account. the full amount for school which was 14000 and i would pay the school from my account. i thought financial aid was paid to the school then i get the remainder. but she says no. i pay the school, if i keep all the money in owe the gov. is this true?? anybody know???
