When I was 18 and 19 I went to 2 different community colleges for half a semester each and then did not finish. I know I owe the 2 schools money and I did owe federal money but I paid that back in 2005. I enrolled in a new school this summer, received financial aid, attended this summer, and finished all my classes. I have been awarded 2675.00 for the fall semester also, but when I called to check on a stafford loan I had applied for, they said I have to provide transcripts for the 2 previous schools I attended. They said it was required for financial aid. Will this prevent me from getting any money for the fall semester, will the other 2 schools even send the transcripts? Why did they let me attend the new school in the summer and receive financial aid also if there was going to be a problem now? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
