I enrolled in a college late so I took a a temporary loan until my finacial aid cleared. The school received my fafsa and sat on it for a long time not processing it. They sent me a bill for xxx$ saying your temporary loan is due pay up. I told them to process my fafsa they did, then I got a check for 300$ over payment on my grants. Now 4 months later they say I owe them the amount again saying my aid did not cleasr that my previous school dried of all up. I do not have any confirmation of my payment but I have the check stub from the overpayment that I received. How can I prove what happened? They are threatening to turn this to collections.
