Financial aid for waitlisted students?

I was accepted off the waitlist for the college i'm going to attend this fall.
However, since i was on the waitlist, they did not have as much money left to give me financial aid...

i had to take out a lot of loans for this year and am wondering if theyre going to give me more financial aid the following year or if its going to stay the same
