I am an Indian in class XI right now (Class XI almost finished. About to go in XIIth). I'm aiming for admission in college in 2012 in U.S. and would like to get into a decent/good college with at least 60% financial aid. Details as follows:
Planning to major in Aerospace Engineering
My activities :
Member of Debate Society - 1 debate till now
Member of Model United Nations - 1 MUN till now - Best Position paper award.
Member of Environment Council
1 and a half years of dance at DanceworX - contemporary jazz/ballet (have done 3 stage shows)
Taken part in Science Olympiad 2009 and Regional mathematics Olympiad 2010
Scholar Badge holder for 5 consecutive years (uptill 2008) and scholar badge holder for year 2009 - 2010
Class X Board GPA - 9.2/10
Class XI half yearly %age - 78% (within top 15 in class)
Areas of Proficiency :
Public Speaking
Badminton (inter house team till 2008)
Squash
SAT Score - 1920
Giving SAT I again in may 2011, SAT II - Physics and Math level 2 in June 2011
What are my chances for getting above 60% financial aid ?
