started University of Phoenix online on October 26. It is November 30. I recieved a Pell Grant of 5350 and a stafford loan of 8840 from Wells Fargo. I checked my account on Wells Fargo and my loan was extracted to the school on 11/27 which was black friday. I have no idea when my Pell is disbursed. I spoke to someone last week because my financial aid counselor is out for a month. They said I would be getting a refund of 2600 after it posts. How long until it posts because my account summary is not showing anything as of this morning. And I signed up for direct deposit to receive excess funds. He did not tell me when the excess funds will be sent or how long the whole process takes. I am in week 6 of classes and my account summary still says i owe 2210. I have read horror stories online about their financial aid process and I am worried. I have to pay this stafford loan back and I am wondering about my funds.
