Financial Aid for School?

I go to a college that is year-round, and they just give the pell grants to the students on first day of classes. Normally the grants go to paying off tuition, and then any other fees owed to the school, and then you get the rest back. Either you pick it up from the school or they send you a check. That part depends on which school you go to.

How is financial aid from fafsa disbursed to schools who have quarters (fall, winter, spring, and summer) instead of just two semesters (fall and spring)?
