I've been nominated by one of my teachers to a global leadership conference in the states...however the cost of that is about 2000 dollars. I reeeeaaaally want to attend that conference since it seems to be a great program that can enhance my leadership skills. However, I'm kinda hesitating on speaking that with my parents to give me this financial support. This is not a small amount of money......
So I'm just wondering if there's any way that I can get some financial support from community or school..like apply for a scholarship or grant? or ask for a sponsor?...or should i fund raise my way through...?
(btw I'm in grade 11 so there's not much scholarships available)
