In high school, I was never really great at mathematics. Coupled with the fact that my parents wanted one of thier children to be a lawyer, I never gave a BS in envineering a thought. By the time that I had finished college, however, a lot of this had changed, however. By completing a research-oriented economics curriculum, I had gotten a lot better in mathematics to the point where I was a few classes shy of a math major by the time that I left college . . . By working in the energy indjsutry as an analst after leaving college, was exposed to a variety of enginering fields (e.g. first electrical and mechanical and now chemical). I am thinking about going back to school part-time at George Washington University to pursue a BS/MS in mechanical enginering. The fact that a second bachelor's degree is ineligible for a lot of funding, however, does bother me GWU is not an inexensive university. And I kick myself for not picking engineering as a major in my early 20s. Any advice n how to pay for GWU and how to move forward? Thanks.
